What's cookin??? -steamboat-

STeamboat delish!!!

Well this place is located in Mt. Austin..
THe shop name is MS Ria...

Sounds soooo malay right?
but it is not.. It looks like its a family busniess...

OK...
What we had was seafood steamboat set...

Look at the spread...
We had prawns, clams, abalone, fish ball, bean curd sheets, Mussels, Fish slices, vegetables, noodles, eggs and more....

The soup was really nice...
herbal but not like other herbal soup it is light ... it brings out the sweetness of the seafood...

We all went to eat around my grandma's Birthday...
She liked it too....

The table is spacious...
They use the normal gas tank and small stove....

Yea as you can see we sat at the roadside...
you can choose to sit indoors...
But to me i think where we sat was just nice as it was cooling... not much cars pass around...
That time we were there soooo... no worries about the dust all that...

This is their menu....
for steamboat fish head it is nicer in setia indah... would blog about it when i go there again...

however for this i think the price is reasonable...
all 5 of we were really full....
and... the servers there were very friendly and fast at getting things done.

After we finished eating ...
the owners have the courtesy to ask if we enjoyed the food...
Its a plus point...!!!

Heard of this place before???
it is kinda new to me...
i and dude was in mines for brunch .. and ya we come to this place...
THe place as you can see looks very calm and relaxed..

which is true...?
you have to order your meals at the counter..
and it is all self served...

You can help yourself to a a glass of water while waiting....
i guess the staff there are kinda relaxed...
they make customers to order and take their meals themselves...

As you can see have this plastic circular device where it vibrates when your food is ready...
it's like in taroyami the dessert shop....

while i was there there were not much customers...
and from the picture above you can see the outer part is not ready yet,... it's just plain...

However the food...

let's see what we have ordered!!

English breakfast.....
a simple dish ... yet some restaurants fail to deliver...
however for Chilla cup.. it was not the case...
they even serve bacon... but not pork bacon...
halal... lol...
sooo my malay friends... you may drop by for tea... lol...

what i like about this dish is their hash brown!!!
soooo thick and well done....
delish...

pepperoni pizza....
seems typical ...
what about this...
ill say its normal.... thin crust.... cheese... pepperoni...
but it was actually quiet tasty...

NOt forgetting the drinks....
at a place like this....
and it's name Chilla Cup, Coffee is the choice....
Hot or cold that's the question...??? lol....

My dar's choice is cold coffee latte....

As for me...
my choice is cuppachino hot and upsized!!! lol...
and wow... its a monster...

Look at whats here...
Pretzels.... it looks huge and thin....
the taste aaa....
not as nice as Auntie Annie's ...
if you want dips you have to pay extra...

It prices of the food are almost like old town... coffee prices are slightly lower then starbucks...
depending on what you are drinking...
