Healthy Roasted chicken Tortilla

This is the end product.

How did i do it?
It is actually really simple.
(Portion 2-3 person)

 What is a Tortilla?

Tortilla is a kind of thin, unleavened flat bread, made from finely ground maize (corn) or wheat flour.
  
 


I choose this brand of tortilla,100% whole wheat.
It is a better option.

 For the chicken.

- 2 chicken thighs
-1 and a half teaspoon of salt.
-half a teaspoon of sesame oil.
- white and black pepper.
-1 teaspoon of olive oil.
Massage it and marinate the chicken for approximately 15-30 minutes.

Slice up 2-3 onions.
4-5 cloves of garlic (I peeled the skin off)

Pre-heat your oven for 5-10 minutes.
At 250 degrees

Place chicken in (make sure you hear the sizzling sound).
put the onion and garlic in the chicken marinate.

 coat it evenlly, then put it in the oven together with the chicken.

Why Chicken Thighs?
It is a very simple question and my answer to that is because of the chicken skin which somehow works as a natural flavouring. Furthermore, it's the most tender and juiciest part of the chicken. Unless, Of course, You opt for the Butt.

Let it roast for 45 minutes.


While waiting for the chicken to cook.

Prepare whatever vegetables that you want to eat it with.





When the chicken is ready.

Let it cool.

Shred the chicken.

Take a piece of tortilla, place the chicken on it then put it in the oven.
Take it out when it is sightly brown.

Wrap it up and bite into it...




You don't need any other flavourings.


It is a healthy meal.

If you think that it is a hassel to prepare the chicken.

No worries.

You can just use a flat pan, cook an egg.
Toast the tortilla on the pan and you are good it go!
