Raya break!!! Japanese Curry and Spa experience!!! (part 1)

WOw!!! does it look good?

Yeah!!! Japanese Curry
Me, Beatrice, Anushya and Jia hui went there for lunch..

 Curry Rice and salad!
For 4 people it costed rm25.00!!!
seriously cheap... why???
i bought it from an online deal...

i bought 2 deals for 4people ....

The 1st type of curry... which is my dish...
is Curry fried rice and fried egg with prawns...
their rice is soooo good... Japanese rice...
kinda sticky like sushi rice but in this case it is fried....
the egg and prawns are normal....

Beatrice told us that this is Kang Mei's favourite...

And this is Jia Hui's Japanese Curry rice with chicken chop.

What is sooo special about the Japanese Curry?
Usually curry is perceived as being spicy but to my surprise it was not spicy at all...
There is pieces of porkand carrot in it....
It is more of a sweet curry...
the texture is sightly thicker then the usual curry...

It is filling to the tummy....
4 of us liked it....

The atmospher is quiet and their seat was unique ... it is like squarish and hard...
We all chated and hang out for a while

Girls being girls... we talked and talked....

However it wasn't that quiet after a while...
There was a play area for kids..
It is not that i don't like kids but with all the talking that i am trying to listen to and the screaming and knocking of toys together really is not pleasent at all...

I brought my family along the second trip...

My Dad don't really like it...
His hard to please different taste buds...
and those food that he say it is yummy most of the time taste average to me.

Mum and Joyce liked the Japanese rice....
Grandmum is okay with anything...
Shes also quite fussy about food... she don't eat much meat...
and when you give her food she will always say "enough enough alot already"
but we still continue to give her ...
shes very shy ...

Got a habit or a ritual she got to do when we are all out to eat is that she would want to take out her wallet to pay!!!
It is Soooooo irritating....
We won't let her .... Its the same thing over and over again....
me and my sister stoping her and mum have to like rush to pay or something like that...
It is a daughters right to take care of her aged mother..
That is what i think...

If you havn't try Japanese Curry before... Go ahead...
We only live once!!!

Next i want to share about my or OUR Spa experience... Which is in EG1...

I bought a deal just for rm10.00

Here we are entitled to an unlimited usaged of the spa pool and the steam room.

it relaxing, it improves blood circulation and it accommodates up to 6 people at one time.

The first time when i was there it was with Anushya, Beatrice and Jia Hui...

We had the whole place to ourselves...

The staff in the beauty house was really friendly and after she show us to the changing room, the bathroom  and showed us the  shower steam room and advising us.

She left us to enjoy ourselves as in really no one is watching us...

If we need anything just give her a call...

There is a phone on the counter outside the room...

As you all can see we are soaking away...

The water is like warm... more of hot at first but after a while it is not that warm..

i think because our body has gotten used to it...

we soaked and we chatted....

For the Steam room i don't think that i would ever get used to it....

it is like breathing water into your lungs...

I took their cloth and close my nose and mouth with it... still it smells ... i don't know why...

Look at the celling it is painted as if it is the sky....

i like their design...

its very... erm... very close to nature feeling....

relaxing....

When i was there the second time... 

It was with my sister and my mum..

We did the same thing...

My mum and sister couldn't take the steam spa too...

However the owner of the placed says that it is good for us... as it makes us sweat not only certain part of our body but as a whole... 

she says it opens up the pores and makes each any every pore on your body sweat...

and the sweat will cause us to have great skin...

she says thats why when people exercise they tend to have nice skin...

And adding to it we need to drink lots of water...

they do provide water and plastic cups...

You can stay there as long as you want but who will i mean unless you got nothing to do in life...

Maybe once in a while when to need a rest other then that....

I think signing up a package for 3 months is not worth it...

It's my opinion....

They provide cosmetics...

after spa if you need to go for an important meeting it is there for you to use...

you can even set youur hair there...

But i wouldn't dare to use it...

Its a good experience either way...

Food or spa...

what is good about the spa place is i find it good as they respects one's privacy...

So you would not be shy to enjoy yourself or act a little crazy... he.he.

No guys allowed... lol... sorry.... 

and it is rather clean...

I would go there again...i mean the spa...

 Now waiting for Pei ing and Kai Ying to go with me!!!

I was up in KL for a few days...
i went up to settle my PTPTN stuff and see some other options...

during that time i was hanging out with my sister and her friends...
We when for sukiya....

What is Sukiya???

Sukiya is a name of a japanese steamboat restaurant...
just rm35.00 for lunch. I round up the figure you can eat as much as you want...
you can order plates n plates of meat like chicken, mutton and beef... i prefer the beef....
the meat is sweet and yummy.... for mutton it kinda smells....

it is served on a dish and is it sliced thinly you just need to deep it in your hot pot of soup then consume it...
some people hardly even cook the meat then they consume it...

They have four types of soup to choose from...
the vege's, tofu, fish ball, mushroom, and all the other stuff is self served...
they even have ice cream...
green tea and chocolate flavour...

the ice cream is not like normal it is sticky....
sorry i don't really like it...

6 of us ate it.... cost about rm200+++

OH ya!! i have not mention where it was....
HAve a look at it's name card...(above)
It is in pavilion is tokyo street...
usually on weekend you have to line up outside of the shop to be seated... 

Sorry i did not take much pictures as everyone was busy eating....

AFter that we went to Time Square... We walked there... all 6 of us!!
HUi wen, ye ling and lorriane went for a movie...
They watched possession....

I watched it too ....
POssession is about an ancent jewish demon locked up in a wooden box...
where it preys on small kids and possess their bodies to take away something it doesn't have which is "LIFE".
so..... there is a broken family where they have 2 daughters the younger daughter is possesed by it... she gotten hold of that wooden box from a flee market...
watch as the demon befriends the girl and then torments her ...
the father manage to find a guy who is willing to cast it out the other religous man dare not perform the ritual...
and so... it was cast back to it's wooden box and the priest want to hide the box so that no one can find it... but at last the guy or so call priest died in an acident cause of the demon who wants its box to be found by it's next victim...

It is not scary at all...

ANyway....
I , my sister and her friend, shantini when for Archery game...
i bought a deal online...78 arrows for rm15... i bought 2 tickets soo.....its 156 arrows all together...
we played 2 rounds.

 The is shantini... the 1st to put on the equipment... lol...

 Joyce next ...

 and then me!!!

 looking like a pro huh?
Na.... not really i saw my dar... practise ... agak agak... meaning...
i tried my best to get the right posture...

During the first round i almost died twice.... Thank God i did not....
the arrow bounce and one knocked my shoulder(by my sister) and another stop in front of my barrier (by Shantini)...
maybe i m standing at a not so lucky spot...
after that Shantini dare not continue to play ... so i and my sister took her arrows and shoot away....

It was really tiring... the bow wasn't light and.... while puting the string to shoot it takes quiet an effort....and trying to hold the bow still is tough..
if i play it everyday.... i think muscels would form but it is only one hand....lol...

the second round only me and my sister played.... lol.... 
Shantini just watch us and rest...
Overall it was fun...

After that we went for a walk... i bought a new dress...
only rm25.00 but it looks sweet...
pinkish peach and black....

LAVA goodness!!!

I am craving for some lava goodness now...

cold and hot and creamy....

Oh man.... well i am on a diet now.... 

i can't have it now...

But bloging about it would at least trick myself that i had it... i hope.. lol..

What i am talking here is lava cake...

LAVA CAKE!!!! 

i have tried a few but fell in love with one

 I tried the one in sweet heart....

This is not to my liking...

it is like bitter choco cake and the ice cream is like separated ...

i suppose to be like married together...

But my friend, See yan thinks this is yummy because to her it is not to sweet...

I tried another in tastebug but i don't like it... sorry...

what i am recommending is one place that we would or simply can find...

Usually we do not go there for desserts...

We go there for Chicken...

My first time encountering this Melting Goodness is went i was in TBS  a bus station in Kuala Lumpur.

You can choose the flavour of ice cream that you want...

i like the valina ice cream with the cake...

 

 The cheese cake suck though....

Why do i like the lava cake there?

Well that is not a difficult question....

i like it because the cake is warm and when you cut it open it oozes out....

Omg.... i m drooling thinking about it...

The ice cream compliments it.... 

cold and hot... it is not soooo sweet at all...

 

It is most important thing...

When it comes to Lava cake...

caution: some lava cake in some Kenny Rogers are not prepared properly...

Once is was in Jusco Terbau Kenny Rogers JB...

They served me a Lava cake that is already opened up.... 

They think i never eat before served me and went...

What did i do???

I demanded for a change... he.he... i am demanding at times...

esspecially this... the thing about eating Lava cake is the joy of cuting into one and watching it ooze with chocolate and melting the ice cream that goes with it...

I am not sorry for that... :)

We ate it like lots of times....

Got an important point... which is the price!!!!!!!

usually Lava cake would cost Rm12.00++

But here is it half the price rm6.00..

and it is i can say even better...

My family gave tumbs up for it...

Went Cousins are out to play!!!

One of my cousin from my dad's side of the family got married...
There we meet lots of our relative... seems that my dad's mum which is my grandmother who we call her ah ne...
don't ask me why "ah ne"?
Its a hakka thing.

She have 12 children 2 of which passed away...
one is when he/she was a baby he/she drank minyak kapak or medicated oil and the other was knocked down by a car while he was riding his bicycle...
so there were 10 left still it was a huge family.

some of my so called cousins gotten married and i don't recall getting an invitation card to their wedding . Yeah... when you have a huge family issues arises but that is another story for another day...

My cousin from austrlia and france came and we went out for dessert...


Know this place???
Yes!!! Yes!! It is Udessert in Mt. Austin...
My cousins lived in setia indah so yeah it is a place to go for desserts...
There are a few different kinds of  dessert shop which are located on the same row...
for example Taroyami, Sweethut, black ball... and more
however i still think Udessert is better simply because it has more choices...

Once i had lava cake in sweet heart and i tried the desserts in taroyami so sad to say it is not to my liking...

 This is my cousin, crystal and her bf, "JP" from australia...
Their love story goes something like this;
My cousin sister was back packing across europe and when she was out of cash she worked in a restaurant as a server and JP was a chef..
after that he followed her back to australia and is now staying with my cousin and her mum, my aunty...
The details in between i am not very sure...
Anyway i think it is really sweet and dramatic that a guy would leave everything he has ever known to be with someone.
 And come to think about it my aunty must be shocked!! haha

Thank God his a Chef ... this kind of job is wanted everywhere... :)

The guy in the white tee is Chirstopher... Nickname "kang kang"... he is a citizen of france...
He don't seem to understand English... he speaks in mandarin more.
it seems that the france are really proud of their own lauguage...
Who can blame him, he must have though that his a france fella...
same as my cousin (mum side) wendy she say shes an australian... not chiense ... AUSTRALIAN... ha.ha.

My dessert it is like a chiense cooling herbal drink...
really yummy...
but i really hope that they would serve it in a bigger bowl...
it is too little!! Not satisfying...

JP ordered mango smoothie....
you need to drink it fast or not it will turn mushy ...
Its really hard to drink...
So many types of dessert i don't know why he choose this...

AFter the game (i guess it must be boring for them watching beginners play...)
My cousin brother fetched my cousins to Jang Won Korean Restaurant and i went home to pick my mum and my aunties... which is crystal's mum and Kang kang's mum...

We ate and ate... until we could not eat no more...
but no matter how full we were there is always room for ice cream!!!!

Overall it was a really fun gathering.
I have not seen them for a long long time...
it was nice to know that everyone is doing well.
