Why pay for food that does you no good? (v2)
Well in the general meaning it seem like its talking about junk food.
As we know those food does us no good causing many types major health problem such as obesity, heart attack, diabetes.... yet people eat them...
however i am not here to lecture you about it....
here i am talking about something that is much more in dept..
In a story i read its a about an African boy named Saddam , who had spent 4 years of his young life on the streets of kampala, Uganda. Once Aunt rox( don't really know who is she guess she is the one who adopted him) went to the movies to watch Chronicals of narnia: Prince Caspian.
Saddam enjoyed the movie so much but his sudden question which he ask " Aunt Rox , that movie was too much money. You could have used the money to buy food."
Aunt Rox in much suprise asked back what was the best gift they evry recieved?"
Ya.... your rite if you say it was food....
Guess we are much much blessed here .
but that verse bring us back to how god want us to rank the "spiritual food" the way most Ugandan children prioritize physical food as our number one aim.
