GOd is in Control

Recently I read of a heart-rending event. A few scientists went to the snow-capped North Pole for research. One of them was caught among the ridges of the ice. Snow enveloped him but he found one small slit to which he put his nose and breathed.

Unfortunately, some poisonous gas emanated from the stove which he carried and blocked the slit. He was choked and he began thinking of his wife and children whom he had left far behind.

There was no one to take care of them if he did not survive. Then, for a moment he composed himself and looked at the blue sky and the stars above.

He realized that God was on His throne above all and was watching him. He knew God is in control and would not forget him. This thought was a ray of hope to him in his solitude.

At that North Pole he was not alone but God was with him.

God had concern for that scientist and in good time he sent few men to look for him.

They split the blocks and miraculously saved his life.

Our Heavenly Father who is on His throne is in full control of all that happens in our life.

Nothing can touch us without His will…

HIndrance To success- Faulty Memory.

ITS HOW WE REMEMBER THE PAST HAS A GREAT IMPACT ON OUR PRESENT AND FUTURE.

Yesterday i when for tennis with my cg mates i was talking to a quite new member of our cg. i and her somehow click well enough that we start talking about relationships about human character about temper and more... i remember telling her to see things in a positive manner even how bad it is.. her swift words are like easily said then done in a lively manner. she didn't attend chruch yesterday so the sermon i think would be good for her. after she said that i was like erm... thats why you need God's help..but for someone who is new didn't really understand what God can do.. miracles do happen but for some they say its too long to wait...but then only way to move on is to throw that negative thoughts away the past is the past and by looking at the good than our faith will increase and forward is where we are heading.

as i look back in to the sermon notes i realise it is all within ourselves as human we tend to always want to find the easy way out for example when a good friend of yours some how get on your nerves at the heat of the moment you decided not to ever talk to the person ever again.. (but then when you see the person you will remember what he had done to you and you will meditate on it and that relationship is broken...)
that would be easy than forgiving the person and face them again

like me, there was once a friend of mine we were some how close in the sense i told him alot about my life and i thought he was a good friend so i trusted him, as both are christains the thought of betrayal or lies didn't really can to mind. He suddenlly got close to a girl which cause alot of rumours as a friend of cause i would ask and clearify things so as to protect him in the sense stand up for him. after asking like 5 times the reply was totally opposite then the truth that was later on disclosure by himself which to me it made to point knowing ready i was like.... ok... bye... i hang up...i was angry aready but his later on sms made me even more angry he misunderstood that i like him .. you get it he thought i like like him.... i was like wao.... damn... goodness i like him as a friend or a bro... not that way... that time i totally made up my mind to disown such a dishonest friend . Then after some thought i decided to forgive him but it was hard.. i when to the gathering totally ignoring him... i no i m capable of not talking to the person forever but i choose not too... i try looking back trying to see the good things in him. that made us friends. but trust here is lost.

The recent observation brought me more disapointed in another person... though i m much younger than them but i don't get how they dun seem to know what they are doing.
i heard about many changes in the world on saturday i and 2 of my good friends were discussing about people who are into those of the same sex. the world is somehow different its not that i m classifying them or i dislike them is just that their choices and thinking makes me curious (maybe i shall do a survery on them) but then not curious enough to be one...
Its just now even younger kids are much influence. people tend to look at their lives as negative as possible in my opinion causing them to find of something that doesn't hurt them for aexample dissapointment in guys may cause a gal to get drawn into the complications of the lesbian world( no offence ya)

what you remember of a person caused you to react differently.
i am now friends with them even they had did me wrong i remember i smsed him saying that i forgive him. Its not easy as my character is not that forgiving but i choose too so it all starts in the mind.
storeroom is like our memory ,garbage in mind effects what you do or say. that we put in our mind there is a need to keep it checked. to make sure our memory is healthy . we should practice a selective memory where we choose to remember or forget certain incident.

we need to re-evaluate our negative experiences from God's perspective. talking about lies and betrayal Jesus been through it more then me. i can imagine how painful it is too be killed , beaten by, spit by the people that he so loved. and yet asking God to forgive them. Wao.... God is merciful.
Thats why we have to develop an attitude of gratitude where it helps us to look at every situation positively.Thank God for the good or the bad everyday.

The 80's are back....

here when it comes to fashion... hehe... i m of cause interested...
it seems that the 80's fashion is coming back but here it is made mordern... instead of those horrible n messy style which in not really refine in the 80's we can see how the 80's is interpreted in the modern era..

There are many 1980s fads and fashions, and while many have been reinstated in contemporary fashion lines, there are some '80s fads that none of us are eager to relive. Let's take a look at some of the fun and fascinating fashion trends from this era, and how some of them are re-emerging in modern apparel.
80s Fashion BasicsThe 1980s have been deemed an era of larger than life proportions – from the big hair to the bold neon colors, fads from this time period were anything but quiet. Instead, this era ushered in big and bold styles that screamed individualism. Ironically, the '80s years also saw a mix of fashions that were very different from one another – but extremism still played a major part in this aspect. For example, one of the most popular '80s fads was fashion inspirations with super sex appeal, such as black lace and bustiers (courtesy of Madonna's influence) and off-the shoulder tops for women. Modest feminine dresses in classic Laura Ashley designs, however, were also incredibly popular.
The basics for '80s apparel, whether on the demure side or screaming sex apparel, were strong, colorful, and statement-making.

1980s Fads and Fashions for Women
Some of the
80s fashions may make you cringe now, but let's face it, the color overload, layering, and more-is-better fashion philosophy definitely reflected a spirit of fun. What else can you say about black lace fingerless gloves, tons of neon plastic bangle bracelets, and jelly shoes? Here are some of the most essential '80s fashions for women:
Love Your Leggings
A good '80s girl owned plenty of leggings - stretchy, fitted, often black, and cropped way above the ankle. Pair leggings with a short skirt and t-shirt, blousy tunic, dress, or practically anything else for instant '80s flair. In modern fashion, you'll see high-end designers like Dolce and Gabbana with leggings in their lineups. Go for funky stripes or opt for more sophisticated materials like velvet for a modern upgrade on this classic '80s clothing.

Loco for Layers
Layering is another classic 1980s fashion fad. This appeared from head to toe. Polos or tees were layered with boxy jackets, multiple colorful t-shirts were layered with leggings or jeans, and skirts and dresses layered with tights, leggings, or even stirrup pants. Even socks were layered! Or the quintessential '80s legwarmer was layered over tights, jeans, leggings, or pants. Don’t forget the accessories – they weren't exempt from the layering fad. Lots of necklaces and tons of bracelets finished off any fashionable '80s ensemble.
Roll It UpSleeves and pants cuffs weren't to be worn as is in the '90s. Roll up the sleeves of your layered t-shirts, and definitely, 'French' roll or cuff all your jeans to get the pegged jeans look.
Casual Was Cool
While many women today wouldn’t be caught dead strutting an aerobics leotard around town, the '80s were big on making ultra casual a cool fad. Exercise clothing, especially aerobics leotards and biker shorts, were popular everyday staples. Like other styles, these were often layered. Sweat suits were another type of casual wear that was frequently donned in the '80s.
80s Jeans FashionsAn '80s woman's wardrobe wasn't complete without the addition of some great pairs of jeans. In the 1980s, that meant they needed to be one of three things: acid washed, ripped/torn, or skin tight. Acid washed denim mini skirts and jean jackets were also popular.
While acid-washes and completely ripped apart jeans aren’t as emergent in modern fashion, skinny jeans have made a huge comeback and have gone from the runway to retailer. Wondering
how to wear skinny jeans today? For sophisticated '80s appeal, skip the layered neon t-shirts and opt for a slightly loose tunic ending at the hip or a pretty empire waist top. Finish off with a nice pair of heels or some cute flats.
Going Big: The 80s Oversize Fashion Fad
Another big fad for the '80s was going with oversize apparel and accessories. Things like huge cardigan sweaters, oversize Mickey and Minnie sweatshirts, and pants that were big and baggy around the hips and tapered at the ankles were the rage, especially in the late '80s. Other oversize 1980s items included long sweater dresses (worn over tights or leggings) and accessorized with huge fashionable belts, big and boxy blazers for women with shoulder pads, bat-wing style blouses that made a big billow and tapered in at the wrist, and overalls.
Accessories also got the bigger-is-better treatment, with huge colorful earrings and fat shoelaces taking center stage.
1980s fads and fashions were dynamic and overall had many fun elements. Going all out '80s can be a bit garish today, so unless you’re attending an '80s party, opt for infusing a few fun elements of the era into your clothing or accessory choices to stave off wardrobe boredom

How to Apply 80’s MakeupThe 80s style is one of the most distinct trends that never fail to amuse and amaze us.

As in all trends, 80’s makeup style seemed trendy and normal at that time, but if you look back now, you will notice how entirely different it is from the natural look we have today. However, the 80s era is one of those that many people fondly look back at – from 80s theme parties to in demand retro costumes.
The 80’s LookSo how do you come up with a look that is distinctly 80’s? For starters, 80s fashion style is quite easy to achieve: a bright colored matching dress or a skirt suit with matching huge shoulder pads, acid wash jeans, or big shirts to go with tight skirt or tights are good starting points . Spice up your look with an attention-grabbing pastel plastic jewelry, bangle, or metallic belts.80’s HairThe hair styles of the 80’s rely heavily on hairspray, mousse and gels (lots of it). Big hair, feathered and strangely colored with neon streaks, and faux hawk were definitely in. You can adopt these styles or go for a slicked bob one for shorties or simply go with a high pony tail on the side of your head.
80’s Makeup
Of course, an eighties makeup to top off the fashion and the hair would complete that fabulous 80’s look! First, you have to know that women’s makeup in the 80’s were way too much. Makeup in the 80s literally involved painting their faces. Bold eyes and accentuated cheek bones were most important! Eyes during those days needed to be dark and dramatic, layers and layers of eyeliner and bold shades of eyeshadow in hues of green, blue and purple were applied.
Women of the 80s also loved to put on lipstick that popped, as in bright tomato red shades. Makeup during that time would never be complete without the mica – the metallic powder which was used on the eyelids (and other parts of the body) for that fabulous added shimmer.
80’s Makeup Application: How to Makeup Like in the 80s
How then do you apply makeup o achieve an 80’s look?
You can start off by applying liquid foundation to smooth out your complexion. (Conceal blemishes or dark spots beforehand if necessary.)
Line your lids with a good black eyeliner. Line your top and bottom lids, as well as the skin right under your eyes. Put a lot!
Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara.
Afterwards, put on lots of bright green, blue or purple eyeshadow onto your entire eyelid; entire means from the brow line up to the lid line. You can apply a bold secondary color to make it more interesting.
Apply a few strokes of bright blush along your cheekbones – make it look heavy.
Finally, finish off that look with a bright red colored lipstick.
You can always refer to the 80’s style of Madonna or Cyndi Lauper – they are excellent examples of the look of this era. You can copy the colors, if you want to. 80’s makeup is surely one of the most interesting trends .
well the 80's projects to me as a style that i bright full of colours at times the colour dun hv to match yet it looks great.. and at some stage a simple top and normal demin jean would b the perfect solution it don't seem to go out of style...

2012??? is it true???

Listen up! Only three years from now, on Dec. 21, a violent flameout on the sun will blaze and the world will come to an end - almost.
Images View Larger Image
The science gurus of Hollywood are at it again, this time in the apocalyptic movie "2012" now playing at theaters near you.
Science it isn't.
There's this Indian astrophysicist who calls the sun's major burps an eruption, and warns his American geologist pal at the White House, who has apparently never heard of what the sun can do. Solar physicists know that even the sun's biggest burps are exotic but harmless (except to satellites and power grids) coronal mass ejections - CMEs for short.
But this movie CME sends billions and trillions and gazillions of subnuclear particles called neutrinos down to Earth, where scientists in white coats (essential for all Ph.D.s) work in a spooky laboratory 11,000 feet deep and have already dug 6,000 feet deeper to measure the nasty neutrinos and learn what doom they carry.
Real CMEs don't know from neutrinos - electrons and protons, yes - but that's the cinema business. Underground labs like this one do exist, and Stanford scientists have worked in one in Minnesota trying to catch real neutrinos from cosmic rays, plus curious little objects known as WIMPs - weakly interacting massive particles - that just might be the mysterious dark matter that fills the universe. But what will these neutrinos from the sun do in 2012? Only a little, it seems: All they'll do is hit the crust of the Earth and warm it up until it really erupts.
"The Earth's crust is destabilizing," pronounces the movie's White House geologist, and he knows he must tell the world..
But what's a little destabilizing, even though there's no such thing? It just sets off a magnitude 10.9 earthquake somewhere, which sends bigger and bigger cracks ripping through the ground, first in Los Angeles, then all over the world. It topples skyscrapers onto cars and screaming multitudes, it triggers the world's most violent volcano in Yellowstone National Park (not Yosemite, thanks be!) and causes the North and South Poles to switch places immediately.

A sudden reversal
Polar reversal, that's called, and real geophysicists know the poles can't possibly switch; it's only the magnetic poles that occasionally reverse, and specialists in paleomagnetism use those benign reversals to date ancient land masses and the history of Africa's Rift Valley, where ancient hominid fossils lie.
But in this 2 1/2 hours of humans screaming and groaning, freeways crashing and airplanes roaring, we are finally asked to believe that the mother of all tsunamis - generated by worldwide giant earthquakes - buries continents, drowns mountains and, of course, kills off most of the world's population.
Something called "galactic alignment" has caused all this movie trouble. It's presumably when the Earth and sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Well, we're 28,000 or so light-years away from the center of the galaxy, and always will be, so the entire idea is impossible, says astronomer David Morrison, senior scientist at NASA's Ames Research Center in Mountain View.
"It's just an Internet hoax," he says.
The Mayans knew?
The movie also warns us that the "long count" calendar of the ancient Maya predicted our doom in December 2012, but the calendar does no such thing. It does indeed denote a date that in our terms would be Dec. 21, 2012, but without any doom or disaster.
The same Mayan calendar also sets the creation of the world at 3114 B.C., which would surely make astronomers, geologists and all 40,000 members of the American Geophysical Union scream, because the Earth by all reckoning formed about 4.5 billion years ago, and methanogens, the first earthly organisms, emerged a billion years later.
This movie has been hyped all over the Internet for more than a year now, and thousands of people have been really frightened. Its publicists have even created a fake but very real looking "Institute for Human Continuity" (
links.sfgate.com/ZIRN), with a fake "Dr. Pilar Peralta-Pineda" as its "awareness" director. This "scientist" warns us all:
"It is my duty to inform you, in as clear a way as possible, of the series of catastrophes that the IHC believes will devastate our planet in 2012."
If you look closely at the Web site, you'll see Sony Pictures' "All Rights Reserved" at the bottom of the "Institute's" home page in very small type. It's a bitter hoax.Read more:

2012? Maybe the world ends earlier
"Societe Generale has advised clients to be ready for a possible "global economic collapse" over the next two years, mapping a strategy of defensive investments to avoid wealth destruction."
More from the Daily Telegraph:
In a report entitled "Worst-case debt scenario," the bank's asset team said state rescue packages over the last year have merely transferred private liabilities onto sagging sovereign shoulders, creating a fresh set of problems.
Overall debt is still far too high in almost all rich economies as a share of GDP (350% in the US), whether public or private. It must be reduced by the hard slog of "deleveraging" for years.
"As yet, nobody can say with any certainty whether we have in fact escaped the prospect of a global economic collapse," said the 68-page report. It is an exploration of the dangers, not a forecast.
Phew! It's only a movie, after all.Read more: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/bottomline/detail?entry_id=52024#ixzz0XN1H2eLb

It feels like missing the point to talk about "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" as a movie. This is a pop culture phenomenon, some weird early 21st century aberration, our equivalent of the hula hoop or dancing the Charleston on a biplane's wing. In the future, people will watch this second installment of "The Twilight Saga" and think, "What was that?" without realizing that this movie is not really a movie. It's an excuse for a lot of people to dream.
So expect this film to satisfy its fans. Everybody else, get ready for a bizarre soap opera/pageant, consisting of a succession of static scenes with characters loping into the frame to announce exactly what they're thinking. Then they spell out their personalities for us. Here is an emotionally tortured vampire. Here is a perky, friendly vampire. And don't forget the vampire who is a dedicated physician.
Meanwhile, every so often - but never more than two or three times per minute - one of the characters makes a point of telling the perfectly nice, perfectly average teenage protagonist (Kristen Stewart) that she is the greatest thing on Earth. Sometimes it's Dad who tells her. Sometimes it's an enemy, who still recognizes our heroine's amazing power. Most of the time, it's some ridiculously handsome teenage boy. ... And each time that happens, 500 girls in the audience scream.
Let's just say it: It's great there's a movie that makes teenage girls scream. Half the movies Hollywood makes are designed to make teenage boys scream, and those boy movies are just as ridiculous and a lot nastier than "New Moon."
Still, when you come face to face with the source of all the screaming, it's hard not to laugh. We get a suffering James Dean in whiteface, the teenage vampire named Edward (Robert Pattinson), who adores Bella (Stewart). But he can't kiss her without moaning and turning colors, because if he loses control he might open up one of her veins. Edward has been a teenager for almost a hundred years, and he's still no good at it.
Then there's Jacob (Taylor Lautner), an American Indian with a bodybuilder's physique. He's more of a pal, but at several points he wants to kiss her, too. ... Ahh, but he can't let himself go, either, for other reasons. First-kiss anxiety looms great in this film.
In addition, there's lots of naïve conversation about what will happen in 50 years, when Bella is old and Edward, an immortal, is still young. Surprisingly, there's no conversation at all about what's going to happen when Bella is, say, 21, and the idea of dating a guy who can only kiss her - and even then, not without going into spasms - becomes less than completely satisfying.
Based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer, "New Moon" gets off to a quiet start, but the general direction of the story reveals itself when Edward (for noble reasons) breaks off the relationship with Bella. To any outsider, this seems like the best solution to a ridiculous situation, but poor Bella. She's miserable, and what's worse, once you date a vampire, it's apparently like joining the Mafia. They don't just let you quit. So most of the movie is about Bella's getting over the relationship, as she establishes a deeper friendship with Jacob, wards off nightmares and prepares herself for the inevitable onslaught of evil vampires, who want to kill her if only because she is, apparently, so, so amazing.
In places, especially at the beginning, "New Moon" has the feeling of a retread, but to its credit, it's never an unpleasant experience, and at well over two hours, it's never really boring, either, just intermittently ridiculous: "You give me everything by breathing!" Edward tells Bella.
Here and there, when the script gets away from two-person discussions of Bella's epic splendidness, director Chris Weitz gets to put together a nice sequence. A few years ago, when he directed "The Golden Compass," Weitz seemed uncomfortable operating on a big canvas. But a scene in Volterra, Italy, in which Bella races up the streets of that hill town in search of Edward - as hundreds of people in red march in an annual festival - is assured, striking and effective. There are some werewolf scenes that aren't bad, either, but enough said about that.
Alexandre Desplat's overwrought musical score will appeal to viewers who already agree that Bella and Edward's love is glorious. Others won't be persuaded, no matter how much he insists.
-- Advisory: Strong language, peril, mild violence and scenes of a guy falling apart every time he kisses Kristen Stewart.Read more: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/11/19/DD0O1AN7L9.DTL&type=movies#ixzz0XMvbOJNV

1 conjoined twin talking after the surgery.

MELBOURNE, Australia – A Bangladeshi toddler separated this week from her conjoined twin sister was talking and behaving normally after being woken Thursday from a medically induced coma, the head of the surgery team said.
Trishna is already doing well enough that she could leave intensive care, said Wirginia Maixner, director of neurosurgery at Royal Children's Hospital.
"She looks brilliant, she is talking, she is being Trishna, she is behaving the way she always has," Maixner told reporters. "She's phenomenally good."
Her sister, Krishna, will be slowly brought out of the coma later Thursday, Maixner said. Krishna will have a longer period of adjustment as the separation brought more changes to her body and brain's blood circulation.
Maixner said they hoped to have an indication Thursday night or early Friday about how Krishna's brain was responding. MRI scans Wednesday showed no signs of brain injury.
Maixner said there may be minor changes to the girls from where their brains were separated but that overall the brains looked fantastic.
"I can tell you that it's not until i saw that scan that I had my first breath of relief," she said, revealing she did a short "chicken dance" when she saw the positive images. "The scans look great. I believe we've brought them through safely. I believe that the girls will come out really, really good."
The twins, who turn 3 next month, had been joined at the top of their heads and shared brain tissue and blood vessels. They were separated Tuesday after 25 hours of delicate surgery, and then underwent an additional six hours of reconstructive work.
Doctors had earlier said there was a 50-50 chance that one of the girls could suffer brain damage from the complicated separation.
An aid worker first saw Trishna and Krishna in a Bangladeshi orphanage in 2007 when they were only a month old, and arranged for them to be brought to Australia.

Is it true???a mixture of Rohypnol and progesterex (method of raping)

i recieved an email from my friend about this...
"A woman at a nightclub called _______ on Saturday night was taken by 5 men, who according to hospital and police reports, gang raped her before dumping her. Unable to remember the events of the evening, tests later confirmed the repeat rapes along with traces of Rohypnol in her blood and Progesterex, essentially a small sterilization pill. The drug is now being used by rapists at parties to rape AND sterilize their victims. Progesterex is available to vets to sterilize large animals. Progesterex is being used together with Rohypnol, the date rape drug. As with Rohypnol, all they have to do is drop it into the girl's drink. The girl can't remember a thing the next morning, of all that had taken place the night before. Progesterex, which dissolves in drinks just as easily, is such that the victim doesn't conceive from the rape and the rapist needn't worry about having a paternity test identifying him months later. The drug's effects ARE NOT TEMPORARY - Progesterex was designed to sterilize horses. Any female who takes it WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE.. The weasels can get this drug from anyone who is in the vet school or any university. It's that easy, and Progesterex is about to break out big on campuses everywhere. Believe it or not, there are even sites on the Internet telling people how to use it. Please forward this to everyone you know, especially girls. Be careful when you're out and don't leave your drink unattended.

It made me curious then cause me to go on search about the drug what is it actually about as emails may not be true... i don't mean all are fake... just i want prove more...

Rohypnol® (flunitrazepam) is the brand name of a sleeping pill prescribed for insomnia in Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia. It has NOT been approved for use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the United States but this has not stopped its distribution. Rohypnol belongs to the family of medications called benzodiazepines which includes Valium®, Librium®, and Xanax®.called the "Date Rape Drug" or the "Quaalude of the '90s" because it is the newest drug to be abused by adding it to alcohol. When combined with alcohol, marijuana, cocaine or other drugs, it can provide a rapid and dramatic "high." Even if used by itself, Rohypnol's effects are very similar to intoxication.
but about the other drug progesterex....
The Truth: The experts are saying it's a hoax, a fabricated story. We've checked with several sources for veterinary medicines and veterinary training schools and none of them has ever heard of Progesterex. The Food and Drug Administration, which regulates medications for both humans and animals, has no knowledge of it. The other drug mentioned, Rohypnol, does exist and has the reputation of being a date-rape drug. According to the FDA, it's not legal in the United States but is used in Europe as, among other things, a sedative. The FDA says it not only induces sleep, but those who have taken it frequently cannot remember anything that happened while they were under the influence of the drug.

HOW TO REDUCE YOUR RISK?
Watch your drink.
Watch out for each other
Avoid punch bowls.
Open your own bottle or container - don't accept opened drinks.
Tell others about Rohypnol. Awareness is a major factor in this or any other kinds of abuse.
Remember that Rohypnol is odorless, colorless and tasteless and can be added to ANY drink - even water.
If you suspect you or a friend may have ingested Rohypnol, be sure to get tested at the hospital Emergency Room. The drug is detectable for up to 60 hours but cases should and can be reported at any time.
Report any suspected abuse of Rohypnol to proper legal authorities in order to protect yourself and others from harm. It is a federal offense to administer any controlled substance to any person without his/her knowledge, with the intent of committing a violent crime.

now i can conclude that certain parts of the email is not true ... esspeacially progesterex drug... lol...

hopes in mist of storms.

I remember of a true incident that took place during World War II when the German soldiers were preparing to attack the city of Holland. There lived an old lady with her only son in Holland. This lady had great faith in God from her very young age and looked unto God alone for everything she needed. She also taught her son to trust in God.
One day she heard on the radio that the German soldiers are all set to attack the city that night and destroy it. The son, trembled with fear, asked her mom how God would let such a thing happen to someone who trusted in Him.
Their house was at the entrance of the city and there was no way for them to escape the destruction. The mother, still strong in her faith, knelt down on her knees and prayed. She assured her son that God will protect them.
That night, they heard great explosions outside the house. They also heard the soldiers marching outside entering each home and destroying it. To their surprise, not one soldier entered their house. They sat awake until dawn and by early morning German soldiers passed Holland, When they went out to see why the soldiers surpassed their house without causing them any harm. Ah!! What a great scene to see, their home was completely covered with snow throughout the night.
God had covered them with His protection throughout the night so that the soldiers could not see their house… That’s how God works in a wonderful way, above our thoughts, to protect those who love Him and those who trust in Him…

fire acident

Pastor Duane Scott Willis and his wife Janet dearly loved the nine children God had given them. But mid-morning on November 8, 1994, a fiery auto explosion on I-94 in Milwaukee claimed the lives of their six youngest.
Within hours, the freak accident had made national and international headlines. From behind guarded hospital doors came good news concerning Scott and Janet: their physical recovery from first and second degree burns would be complete.
However, the most astonishing recovery became apparent as Scott and Janet displayed their emotional and spiritual stability. Milwaukee, the nation, --even the world looked on in amazement as eight days later the bereaved couple explained to the media how they could make it through such a sudden and horrific tragedy.
The following statements are excerpts from that news conference. "Psalm 34 says, ‘I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.’ Janet and I want to praise and thank God. There is no question in our minds that God is good, and we praise Him in all things. God is a great God."
"As far as the accident is concerned, I was looking at the road and was alert.
Our little baby was behind us; Ben was behind us on the other side. In the back seat were the other four children; they were all buckled in. I saw the object (a metal brace, 6" x 30", 30 lbs.). I thought it was one of those blocks that maybe came off one of those flat-bed trucks. The car in front of me swerved, and I knew I couldn’t miss hitting the object. I thought if I took it on the tire I might roll the car. It was a split-second decision. "When we hit the object, the rear gas tank exploded, taking the car out of control.
I was able to grip the wheel and take the car out of the slide. When we were sliding and the flames were coming around the seat, it was a shock—a surprise—likes, ‘What is this?’ It was just roaring flames coming up on both sides. I was yelling to get out of the car. Janet and I had to consciously put our hands into the flames to unbuckle the seat belts and reach for the door handles. Janet fell out the door while the car was still moving. Benny was in the midst of the burning midst of the burning; his clothes were mostly burned off by the time he got out. The five youngest children, who had been asleep, died instantly.
No sound was heard by Janet or me as we struggled to get out of the van. An unknown man took his shirt off his back to soak Benny’s wounds, and another beat out the burning clothes on Janet’s back. Benny died in intensive care around midnight." "We believe children are a heritage of the Lord. We thank God for six precious children-- four rascally boys, a sweet girl, so much like her mother, and a little baby, just beginning to smile and grow.
We understood that they were given of the Lord, and we understood they weren’t ours.
They were His, and we were stewards of those children. And so God took them back. He is the Giver and Taker of life. We must tell you that we hurt and sorrow as you parents would for your children. The depth of pain is indescribable. The Bible expresses our feelings that we sorrow, but not as those without hope." "What gives us our firm foundation for our hope is the Bible. The truth of God’s Word assures us that Ben, Joe, Sam, Hank, Elizabeth, and Peter are in Heaven with Jesus Christ.
We know, based upon the Word of God, where they are. Our strength rests in the Word of God. The Bible is sure and gives us confidence. Everything God promises is true." "We thank God for His preparation for this trial. Janet became a Christian as a teenager after reading a Gospel tract that somebody had handed her. On February 5, 1975, I (Scott) trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. A man showed me that I was a sinner—and I knew my own heart.
Nobody had ever, ever in my life presented the Gospel to me. I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ; I believed that He died for my sins. I became a Christian that day.
Since then God has been working with us. He has prepared us for this trial. We’re not special people.
We’re sinners saved by grace. But we’re not taking a short view of life; we take a long view of life, and that includes eternal life. We realize that someday we’ll stand before the Lord, and the things that are here will matter very little. God’s grace is sufficient for everybody."

my brother's hands( true story)

In the fifteenth century, in a tiny village near Nuremberg, lived a family with eighteen children. Eighteen! In order merely to keep food on the table for this mob, the father and head of the household, a goldsmith by profession, worked almost eighteen hours a day at his trade and any other paying chore he could find in the neighborhood.
Despite their seemingly hopeless condition, two of Albrecht Durer's elder children had a dream. They both wanted to pursue their talent for art, but they knew full well that their father would never be financially able to send either of them to Nuremberg to study at the Academy.
After many long discussions at night in their crowded bed, the two boys finally worked out a pact. They would toss a coin. The loser would go down into the nearby mines and, with his earnings, support his brother while he attended the academy.
Then, when that brother who won the toss completed his studies, in four years, he would support the other brother at the academy, either with sales of his artwork or, if necessary, also by laboring in the mines.
They tossed a coin on a Sunday morning after church. Albrecht Durer won the toss and went off to Nuremberg. Albert went down into the dangerous mines and, for the next four years, financed his brother, whose work at the academy was almost an immediate sensation. Albrecht's etchings, his woodcuts, and his oils were far better than those of most of his professors, and by the time he graduated, he was beginning to earn considerable fees for his commissioned works.
When the young artist returned to his village, the Durer family held a festive dinner on their lawn to celebrate Albrecht's triumphant homecoming. After a long and memorable meal, punctuated with music and laughter, Albrecht rose from his honored position at the head of the table to drink a toast to his beloved brother for the years of sacrifice that had enabled
Albrecht to fulfill his ambition. His closing words were, "And now, Albert, blessed brother of mine, now it is your turn. Now you can go to Nuremberg to pursue your dream, and I will take care of you." All heads turned in eager expectation to the far end of the table where Albert sat, tears streaming down his pale face, shaking his lowered head from side to side while he sobbed and repeated, over and over, "No...no...no...no." Finally, Albert rose and wiped the tears from his cheeks. He glanced down the long table at the faces he loved, and then, holding his hands close to his right cheek, he said softly, "No, Brother. I cannot go to Nuremberg. It is too late for me. Look, look what four years in the mines have done to my hands!
The bones in every finger have been smashed at least once, and lately I have been suffering from arthritis so badly in my right hand that I cannot even hold a glass to return your toast, much less make delicate lines on parchment or canvas with a pen or a brush. No, brother...for me it is too late." More than 450 years have passed.
By now, Albrecht Durer's hundreds of masterful portraits, pen and silver-point sketches, watercolors, charcoals, woodcuts, and copper engravings hang in every great museum in the world, but the odds are great that you, like most people, are familiar with only one of Albrecht Durer's works. More than merely being familiar with it, you very well may have a reproduction hanging in your home or office.
One day, to pay homage to Albert for all that he had sacrificed, Albrecht Durer painstakingly drew his brother's abused hands with palms together and thin fingers stretched skyward.
He called his powerful drawing simply "Hands," but the entire world almost immediately opened their hearts to his great masterpiece and renamed his tribute of love "The Praying Hands." The next time you see a copy of that touching creation, take a second look. Let it be your reminder, if you still need one, that no one, no one, ever makes it alone!

carrying anothers burden

If you are looking for a way to carry out Christ's command to love your neighbor, Paul has a suggestion: bear their burdens. At some point, everyone struggles under the weight of an oppressive situation. Believers have an obligation to get under that load next to their brothers and sisters. Jesus sets the pattern for burden bearing. He calls to Himself all who are heavy-laden and gives them rest (Matt. 11:28-29). Since God predestines believers to be conformed to Christ's likeness, we must imitate His care and concern for those who suffer. Acts 4:32 shows that the early church followed His example. To lift the load of poverty, they pooled their resources so that no one was in need. Paul's letters make clear his concern for the physical and spiritual welfare of growing churches. He fasted and prayed for them and sent missionaries when he could. He felt it was his responsibility to strengthen them, even though he sustained a personal hardship--his thorn in the flesh (2 Cor. 12:7). A believer cannot wait until his life is clear of obstacles before reaching out to others, since that day may never come. Even though we have our own needs, we can do all things through Christ's strength--including sharing someone else's adversity (2 Cor. 12:9). When you're willing to wade into someone else's troubles to help that person hold up under the weight, two things happen. First, he or she receives desperately needed blessings in the form of aid, support, and love. And second, you fulfill God's command to love a neighbor as yourself.

Promise for the Day: Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2. (New Living Translation)

Friend's, Build A House Of Happiness..............

Take what God gives,
my friendAnd build a house of happiness
Some have been given more
Many have been given less

Treasures are lying at your feet
Their value you only guess
Another builder looking on
Would barter anything to possess

No matter how large the problem

There is work that you do best
Build a house of happiness
A place to find peace and rest

Take what God gives and start right away
Build a house of happiness today
Filled with laughter, joy and love
Giving praise and thanks to God above

By gape of love divine ministries

WE all got it!!!!!

Got it??? you might be thinking got what? What i mean is super powers... Get it?? lol... i m confusing you...

what i have learned today was something that i think that we some how gone through it or not or might have attempted to try... simple tasks such as;
* love one another
*forgive one another
which make us shine as a christain we need to shine be different all this needs much practice i admit i find it hard to forgive and forget .. it seems that when i am facing a person that had did me wrong.. a strong feeling of hatered overcomes my heart.. so i can say practice...as we need to care for others and we are called to care.. its in our nature to care ..

The world is filled with darkness and what occasion is it??? (Eph 5:15-17) when the days are evil the need for us christains to be careful and to be clear of God's will in our lives so that we can share a clear vision of what is to come...
(eph 2:10) as we are the workmanship of god created in the image of God we are expected to do good works some people might say we can do better and even greater works...
Do i mean miracles? must it be something that is so so extra ordinary???
Greater things can just be ; reaching out to people in uncomfortable situation or settings, while preaching the gospel caused you to feel rejected or brings you embarrassment , or we when we pray for something and failed.. looks simple at first but the action or the doing is much much tougher..
thats when we need to b daring.. without attempting all those things through fear or complex emotions our faith will grow..(john14:12) anyone who has faith in God will do what he has been doing.. God will help us when we attempt to do things that are pleasing to his eyes..

we as humans always deny or in doubt that we do not have the capacity or the ablility sometimes we think that its better for other people to do it but the fact is that we can rise up to it however some of us are not ready but here we will never know when we are ready til we take the first step and try... we do have the ability and god has equipped us

thats when we need to be certain of who God is to us.. Gods can change Saul who is persecuting chirstains he was called by god through Ananias a prophet .. i was thinking if i am Ananias i would be too scared... but Ananias choose to go... and wao... a change....
when we are certain of who we are in christ a small act a small start is just what we need to so call get the ball rolling...

God is always ready to help us when we choose to rise up to the occasion...
are you up for the challege?

Todays moment of tawg..

I read about a misfortune Ethiopian farmer who hid $12k in a haystack...
at first i thought to myself who would be so dumb to do that ... but after runing it through my brain it make sense to him as he works in a farm a huge posibility they don't keep savings in banks thinking about time frame it could be in the 18's o something not only that maybe he grew up in the farm without any education...
the misfortune part is when hungry rodents chewed it . almost 1/3 of his savings.. it may not seem much to some people but i bet it meant alot to him....
(matt 6:19) says that we shouldnt store up treasures here on earth. as things on earth is temporary...
eternal matters are not of the eyes to store it up i don't think we have a proper bank on earth for it. em... but things that last as for the fruit of the spirit, as for the lost souls u saved as for the lifes you touch are things that are worth much more than money however in times such as things money seem to be number 1 in most of peoples life that they strive honesty or by different means that they somehow lost themselves or lost what important in life..
Being happy is not just by hearing jokes, not just by shopping, sports ,food... well i got to admit i love shopping however such pleasure just last for a while... after that there is an empty feeling that we humans tend to find other things to fill it up...
i've learn that all these earthly things just kinda fill up that hole 4 a moment and then when it fades it digs a deeper hole for you to fill...thats when you see people is always in the sreach for something and when you ask them they would say" i don't know what i am looking for".
i am kinda lucky to fall and yet get up stronger than before... i have experience that feeling of being lost of direction like thinking to myself numberous of questions and yet don't have an answer.. see things change and happen yet felt hopeless....
well thats an encouragement for you... learn to hand things to GOd... i don't feel empty no more.. shopping its fun but its nt something i look forward to fill up my misery... learn to take things with a open heart live life with a purpose ..
