Matterhon Bistro (Eryn's Bday)

I am able to experience a super yummy fest here....
It is located in Johor Jaya...
seriously i did not realise this place even exist....
sorry .... it was kinda secluded...

Looks nice right? i mean the place.... like a cottage!!!
however the shops beside it is not really appeal at all...

It was a special day for Eryn it was her birthday... With the theme of sparkle... we have to come dress with stuffs that sparkles... but then... if there was a competition on who is the well dressed according to the theme.. it would be a no brainer...
Eryn would take the Crown!! lol... You'll see why in a while...

As we entered we are greeted with a long table all set....
They served us peach tea or ice lemon tea... em... forgotten it already...
this took place last month... sorry was really busy and sick...
better late then never right????

What i think is interesting... is that... Kelvin asked us to write our Jubilee wishes.. and  after a year we shall reveal it and see whether it has come to pass...

I feel it is very thought full as an activity before eating....
And ya... can you see ... my name is printed on it... WOW!

OKOK.... lets talk about the FOOD!!!

As you can see this is a place of salad... Chicken salad!!!

Omg... i totally forgotten...
We need to pray before eating... and have to pray blessings over the Birthday Girl......

After praying we went back to our sits....
Look at my evil grin... am digging into the food....

About the salad... it was a nice starter i find it very pleasing to the pallet... presentation wise... it looks kinda messy ....

Next is escargot...
this is yummy....
everyone can just have one... :(

This is actually members of my mum's cell group...
I joined this cell group... don't look at their age they are some HAPPENING PEOPLE...
They know how to have fun...
Enjoyed spending time with them...

Next dish would be the Soups!!!
We have Tomato soup...
It is sourish... em... like caned tomato soup....
presentation is nice... but bit too salty... lol...

i tried it... of cause with permission... lol....

I and my mum finished writing our wishes....

This is the pumpkin soup....
It is not as thick as to the one i am use it...
It is light and yet still flavourful...

My mum choose pumpkin soup....
Nice as would won't feel it is too filling...

What did i have????
Wild mushroom soup is my choice!!!
And Boy Boy!!! it was the best among the 3 choices....

Sooooo creamy ... full of body..... i mean the taste....
although it is creamy... but you won't fill sick drinking it....
Aw... i am missing it now....
drooling...

Everyone is with their soups.....
only the tomato soup gets the huge round plate/bowl... hehe...

I do not know what is wrong with the video....
but this video is super funny...
it contains a clip of Uncle William swinging his tie like a cowboy...
Try hook aunt Ruby but Aunt Ruby was sooooo turned off she say she still want to eat later....

Let's walk along the path ways of Main Dishes!!!

First Up...
Its a plate with a combination of chicken cheese chop... and black pepper lamb chop...
accompanying it is their smash potato and coleslaw...

Next is the same but the cheese chicken chop is instead of cheese it is black pepper chicken chop!!!

Can you see how huge the plate is....

Ya... my choice was the black pepper chicken and lamb chop!!!!
and boy i am fill....
Too much meat for the night!!!
loll....
or maybe cause i am talking more then i am eating....
so it seems like my food is running off my plate really slowly...  :)

The next 2 has this scallops spaghetti!!!
those scallops are delish...
sooo huge and juicy.....
the combination of as you can see here is the cheese chicken chop...

or the combination of black pepper chicken chop...
perfecto!!!
wished i ordered this after i tasted the scallops.... :X

I almost forgotten....
Do you know when we were all sited in the beginning... the host, Kelvin ... made a floor plan of the sitting with what we ordered....
really well thought out...*thumbs up*

As for the Main event!!!
Eryn's Hubby, kelvin got the cake courier in from KL... lol...

It is nice place for meals... just remember to bring more money as it isn't as cheap as the normal cafes....
